Cleaner Terminology

We've standardized on "appointment" terminology throughout the entire platform for a more professional experience.

What Changed

  • Dashboard Navigation - "Bookings" is now "Appointments" everywhere in the dashboard
  • Notifications - All notification messages now use "appointment" consistently
  • Emails - Confirmation and reminder emails updated with cleaner language
  • URLs - Dashboard URLs now use `/appointments` instead of `/bookings`

This is purely a terminology update - all your data and settings remain exactly as they were.

Smarter Appointment Slots

This release focuses on giving service providers more flexibility when creating appointments.

New Features

  • Partial Time Slots - When an appointment ends mid-interval (like 9:45 when you have 30-min slots), the system now shows that 9:45 slot so you can book back-to-back appointments
  • Flexible Advance Scheduling - Providers can now book any available slot regardless of advance scheduling restrictions (helpful for walk-ins and same-day requests)

Improvements

  • Made cancel/reschedule reasons optional - sometimes "plans changed" is enough
  • Better calendar layout with improved slot alignment
  • Various UI fixes across the dashboard
